looks far better in the rain.
In the rain, buildings are adorned with imposing cornices, archways
scowling hyenas as gargoyles and corners are tinged green
and some stones are lost in the
run-off from class to office.
People only come out in pumps and loafers.
Neighbors only come out alone with collars and briefcases.
